Using The Meeting Controls

Overview

When using the controller you’ll be doing the following:

  1. Selecting the current agenda item
This will display the item on your display system and highlight on the Board Member app which agenda item is active.
  2. Capturing actions
Motions, seconds, amendments, call for question, etc.
  3. Capturing votes
When indicated by the chairman, you will open voting for your Board Members to submit their votes.

The left column of the Meeting Control displays all of your agenda items for your meeting. When you select one you will be prompted to confirm your choice, just in case you click the wrong item by mistake, and once confirmed the agenda item will be “active”. This means that the agenda item will be displayed on the Board Member’s app and in chambers on the displays. And if the Board jumps around the agenda and takes things out-of-order, you can easily follow along — just click to the item they jump to.

What If I Need To Revise My Agenda?

You’ll need to leave the Meeting Control and go into your agenda to make changes. Not a big deal, it’s just a different area. Go to “Events” and then select your meeting and then the “Agenda” tab to make your changes. When you’re done, simply jump back into the Meeting Control

Capturing Actions

When an agenda item is selected, you will see your full board in the right column.
